SENIOR ACCOUNTANT $75-$85k (Auckland Central)

A credible and well established practice that has been based in Auckland for many years, it has gone from strength to strength with a very loyal following!

This is an opportunity for a well-rounded senior looking to step up and go beyond the number crunching of compliance and be immersed into consulting/compliance. Due to huge growth in the last financial year, they are in need of a senior accountant.

There is also the possibility of this senior role leading into succession planning depending on the right fit.
As in most roles, this firm has endless opportunities and will depend on your drive and passion to progress your career in this firm.

The core function of this role is preparing financial statements and various compliance duties on top of advisory work.

Manager $110-$130k (Auckland )

Central based firm with a loyal client base looking for an astute BAS Manager to assist in growing their firm to another level.

Three key elements they are passionate about and that is the product suitability to clients, Service and affordability.  

This position will enable the successful candidate to work closely with the Directors.

If you can demonstrate your ability to add value, source opportunities, communicate effectively with internal staff and clients then you will go a long way in this firm.

You will at least have 6-7 years, CA qualified, a self-starter, CA qualified and a hunger to progress your career forward!

Other skill sets required are: Commercial saavy, great understanding of running a business, excellent communicator, business development and an attitude to succeed. Your thought process in team meetings and in-depth experience via advisory skills towards clients and the nature of their work would be ideal.

Associate Director $130-$160k+ (Auckland)

Our client is a medium size firm with some very high end clients.

 You will need to display a good sense of running an actual business; this role will enable you to manage a team of just under 10 staff.

You will be leading a small team, in which all tasks are completed in a timely and professional manner.

Some other skills you will need are:

• Preparation of  financial statements
• Management reporting
• Tax compliance
• budgeting & forecasting
• Assisting partners with high-end advisory projects
• Assisting client with complex accounting, tax and wider business queries
• Familiar with FIFS, trust and dealing with high net worth individuals would be ideal
• Tax opinions and high end advisory would be ideal ( not mandatory)
